Sikkens Rubbol BL Isoprim Wit

Water-based insulating primer based on alkyd emulsion for indoors and outdoors.

Description

Sikkens Rubbol BL Isoprimer is used as an insulating primer on bare wood to prevent discoloration of paint layers due to ingredients.

Also applicable to cleaned and sanded alkyd resin paint layers.

Bleeding of components may occur in the following types of wood and the application of Rubbol BL Isoprimer is recommended: Merbau, Dark Red Meranti, Western Red Cedar, Oak and Afzelia.

In pine and spruce, knots and knots can sometimes cause a yellow discoloration. These are preferably pre-treated with Rubbol BL Isoprimer.

If bleeding and/or discoloration still occurs after applying the first layer, a second layer must be applied.
